Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Oman Q4 2021

In Q4 2021, the top five business apps on the Android platform in Oman—Zoom Workplace, Google Meet (original), Microsoft Teams, omanoil, and Dawam—showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. The data for this analysis is sourced from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3 in the final week of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant drop to around 2.3K in mid-November before slightly recovering to 3.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a decline from 66.9K to 59.1K over the quarter.

Google Meet (original) did not generate any revenue but had a consistent pattern in downloads. Weekly downloads started at 3.9K and dropped to 1.3K by late November before rising again to 2.7K in the last week of December. Active users also declined from 46.3K to 29.1K throughout the quarter.

Microsoft Teams also did not generate revenue but showed a downward trend in downloads, decreasing from 4.9K to 1.7K by the end of December. However, active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 78.5K, although it saw fluctuations throughout the period.

omanoil did not show any revenue data. Downloads were volatile, peaking at 2.3K in the week of December 20 after a low of 257 in early December.

Dawam also did not generate revenue. Downloads peaked at 5.2K in late September but dropped significantly to 129 by mid-October, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 330 downloads.
